After three months on the road and 45,000km later, the torch arrived in Vancouver. We headed down to David Lam Park (community park 5min away) which is dubbed “Livecity Yaletown” for the games. Livecity Yaletown is the main public gathering spot with sponsor tents, nightly concerts, and big screen to watch the games on. But on February 11, it was the nightly parking place for the torch before it made it’s way to the Opening Ceremony the next day. Bernard and I headed down early and met up with Pamela and Ken later to take in the celebration.
