2014 — what a blur you were. Our baby wasn’t due until mid/late January, but she arrived (in a hurry!) in mid-December instead. We were transferred to the NICU just over an hour away, and were allowed to come home just after Christmas.
We had family photos taken shortly after coming home from the NICU.
She was so tiny, she fit inside our stockings!
such a peanut. Not quite 6lbs here, at 2 weeks old!
Those early months involved a LOT of this.
In February, we went to Vancouver to visit family.
Enjoying the Okanagan winter.
in March, Clara and I went to Arizona to visit my parents for a week.
and then we all drove home together in the motorhome
annual community yardsale day
finally finished our kitchen reno (the one that started while I was 9 months pregnant)
around 6 months of age, life all of a sudden felt much more manageable.
a visit to Vancouver for my cousin’s wedding
and a chance to enjoy some sunshine visiting Nana and Papa
logged lots of lake time together
and Clara helped me pick apricots and plums at our neighbour’s house
leisurely summer in the backyard
walking to the pub for dinner
baby’s first halloween
and a fall visit to see Nana and Papa again.
