2016 – you were a wonderful one. We were so busy with our expanded family, so baking and blogging weren’t high on the agenda this year. But if nothing else, here are 2016 highlights in one photo-heavy post.
Our newest addition arrived right at the tail end of 2015, so we rung in the new year with sweet sleepy baby snuggles.Those early months when he slept all the time, anywhere….nothing is sweeter.

In February, a new addition joined our family
Piper, our new family member, adjusted quickly to life on the orchard.
In March, we said goodbye to my first four-legged love, Karma. Kidney failure and cancer took her very quickly. Clara and I still miss her every day.

By mid summer, Zach had moved out of the ‘new baby’ mode and was becoming a wonderful playmate for his big sister.

Clara is having a waterslide obsession, so imagine her excitement when we took her to the local waterslide park and she was allowed to go down all of the slides!
